What is Nature Play?
Nature Play is our outdoor, nature-inspired playground at Craver Farm. This space is filled with tools and features for imaginative play, encouraging our youngest visitors to explore, create, and develop both gross and fine motor skills in a fun, farm-fresh environment.
What are the benefits of Nature Play?
Nature-based learning at Craver Farm sparks creativity, curiosity, and innovation. Our outdoor “classroom” offers hands-on opportunities to learn, explore, and build real-world STEM skills. Here, children discover where their food comes from, why it matters, and the importance of caring for themselves, the environment, and their communities — all while having fun on the farm.
What should I wear to my visit to Nature Play?
Nature Play operates rain or shine! We suggest dressing in layers to ensure you are prepared for the changing weather on the Farm. It is warm in the sun and cool in the shade. Additionally, we always recommend wearing close-toed shoes to ensure safety.
